New Zealand speed cameras for TomTom
Requirements: Pocket PC 2002, 2003, 2003 SE Edition, Windows CE running TomTom Navigator or any other TomTom devices.
Overview: I was unable to find New Zealand speed camera files for TomTom navigator so I made one. I got some speed camera information from http://nzopengps.org/ (Garmin open source maps, poi and speed camera). I used gpsbabel to convert to garmin speed camera info to TomTom.
As this is based on open source, feel free to use and share as much as you want!
(I still have to figure out how to make a camera icon for the cameras.)
Features:
* Speed cameras in New Zealand
More Info: http://nzopengps.org/
Download Instructions: POI, no registration necessary, no key files.

(Link updated)
Installation Instructions: Just put the file in your map folder.
However if you want to have a specific icon such as a camera there must be a bmp image with the same name as the ov2 file.
An easy way of doing this is to; start tom tom and enter the menu, select change preferences, select manage POIs, Add POI category. Give the category the name nz-speed-cam (or whatever you want to call it). Select the icon/picture you want (there is a camera icon further down under the area Miscellaneous).
If you want warning messages when getting close to a camera, select "warn when near POI". You should find the category nz-speed-cam in the list of POIs. Select it and enter the distance from the camera you want to be warned and select the sound you want.
The last thing to do is to simply replace the nz-speed-cam.ov2 file with tt_speedcam_new_zealand_20080914.ov2. You should find the file in your map folder on the SD card.
