I copied Navigator folder and map, but when GPS find satellites, after several minutes or seconds turn off and say, not enough memory. Same like older version, which was not modified for WinCE 4.2

Try http://www.megaupload.com/?d=DW4RVRTV and copy paste those files into your folder,You will have to change to splash screen to suit as this one is off my nissan

awirnok,

i got mine working nicely by doing the following>

1-downloaded tomtom wince4.2 and unrar to a folder TomTom

2-downloaded jones8430's file and unrar to same folder (overwriting everything that it asked)

3-opened all three of jones8430's .mscr files and redirected everything from 'StorageCard' to 'MMC_STORAGE' (this is the sd card name for my device. yours might be different). the three .mscr files are : "TomTom_run.mscr"; "TT7 Navigator.mscr" and "TT7 Navigatorworking but freezing.mscr".

4-downloaded map and used activator and latest meta text to create .dct file for map.

5- used TT7 Navigator to open program. the first time, i got a 'out of memory' error but i restarted the program again and everything has been working as required.

hopefully, this will also work for you.

btw, my device is 7" display running wince 5 with 64mb ram at 800x480 resolution. sd card used is a sandisk 4gb class 4.

awirnok,

because you are using a different .exe file, you will have to reactivate the map to create a new mapname.dct file after removing the old mapname.dct. use tt7 or tt8 keygen, whichever is applicable.

I activated map with easytools activator, using combination 1 and 1. Program does not say, that map is not activated, but now program say that unable to start.

I have tried this one anyway but not working. I have a Chines Atlas IV CE6 with 128MB, everything I have tried ....not working.
:( :( :( :( :( :( :(

I am playing in the same team as you. After "thousands" of aborted experiences, I have, just today, ordered another chino BUT, with WinCE5 and 64Mb ram to run also TomTom 7. solution cost: 57 euros - 5" gps.

Hi all!
Can someone explain how to get your personal DeviceUniqueID found in the ttnavigator.bif file?

This file is created at first launch of Tomtom, but you need it to activate the maps, and if you don't get any activated maps, Tomtom wouldn't launch :(

THANK YOU!! I was able to use the mortscript files (altering the path for my TomTom folder) and it worked perfectly!! No more freezing after 20-30 seconds every time I don't touch the screen. NOTE: This worked on an Eonon D5102 running WinCE5

My only issue is that I have have a little flashing low battery symbol in the corner, is there anyway I can get rid of the damn thing or somehow trick it to think I have full battery so it can stop flashing?
