I made something greate with your programs,maps and explenations.This works with wince 6.0 too but we need some help to make'it stable,I own a WAYTEQ X820BT,I made a capture for you too see that I am not lying.This is the tomtom:TomTom7.450_for_WinCe4.2and5.0 an the map:Western_Central_Europe_2GB_840_2563 .But we need some help from who can help us.This program must be in memory of the gps not in residentflash or in sdmmc but it is a incovenience,memory back's and the folder disapear.If someone understand what I am saying and think that can halp than the world of wince 6.0 need's some help,it is working...thank's to all of you...

Tested: Still memory problem with CE6, first installed 4.2 version, map (845.xxxx) activated, memory problem, TomTom Navigator.exe replaced with the WinCE6 one, but steeds memory.....

Nah, don't bother, still would not work on CE 4.2, forget it...

This version (7.45) works on a mio c510 with ce 4.2

I have tomtom7 working on my car dvd gps unit o.k. wince 5 ,but it was working with my old one which was wince 4.2 I have uploaded to http://www.megaupload.com/?d=6AMUGKNJ
the one problem I have got is that the gps unit has a tmc port,is it possible for tomtom to run tmc?

I did have one big problem with freezing but a script to enable power management cured this,

The pack is version 7.450 and it works fine. I have also tried to use the version 7.910 but i have always the "memory error".

i managed to get it working after packing it with upx but i am getting the screen freezing problem. appreciate it if you can send the script to overcome this. i can;t manage own my own.

copy and paste into your tomtom dir and yu may have to change a few things in the mcr file to point to the right directory
also you must run tt7 navigator instead of tomtom as the .exe

also try Miopocket 3 (google it) this alowws you to make my double din gps unit into a carputer running lots of software from windows

excellent!! got that freezing problem solved using your script after directing it to MMC_STORAGE (as opposed to StorageCard). thank you very much!! . the time display discrepancy still exists though, even after i changed the TimeZones line in the script. i even tried changing the time zone in the registry but as soon as i switched off the car, it went back at default, ie, standard pacific time. but no biggie, i just set tomtom to show remaining time and distance (and not arrival time).

fyi, i did not use miopocket. i had a bad experience with it. the last time i used it using sd install, it overwrote something to the device and somehow removed the gps part of winCE. i tried the usual hard reset methods ( disconnecting the battery for 24 hours etc) but it didn't work. i must have done something wrong somewhere. luckily, the place i bought the unit replaced it at no charge.

btw, is there a way to remove the start up logo? i found that after using your tomtomfiles, the start up logo shows a nissan xtrail logo. i am using a mazda and it is a bit weird to be shown nissan. but like the time display discrepancy, this, too, is not a big problem. just that it would be nice not to have it.

Try using your tomtom .exe rename it to the same one as mine,
Or if you want to make your own download reshack open up the tomtom.exe and replace bitmap source to your own,(make sure it is a bitmap and the same screen size etc)or just edit my one
hope this helps,I couldnt manage to sort out the time my self or the flashing battery,I now have the unit in my work van and running miopocket great,Ideal for word etc as well as Igo8

The above files work O.K. for mine and that is win ce 5

Try reshack,it is easy and quick,
download reshack ,no need to install ,open reshack,open tomtom.exe. download tomtom splash from goole image or make your own,save it as bmp (not jpeg)
after opening tomtom.exe in reshack replaqce resource image,save
all done

I have Becker 7934 WinCE 4.2, but does not work.
I copied Navigator folder and map, but when GPS find satellites, after several minutes or seconds turn off and say, not enough memory. Same like older version, which was not modified for WinCE 4.2
