Hi, to plan a route you dont need GPS signal, just plan from point A to point B.

Thanks, i worked that out. My only problem now is still getting the 'not enough memory' problem. I have created the route, did what you are meant to do, put it in the folder and still nothing. Still not sure what to do.

HI! I have a chiness (hunydon hy108) con 128 Mgb and winCE6.

I have tried everything:
changing the mscr, start with instalation of TTN7BOT..preparing the route and then launch the TT7.WCE.4.2 instead, I have created too the route with wince emulator (after many tries for forgetting that the id used is not the id of the gps)... and two of the next things occurs:

1.not enough memory..
2. or if executes the tomtom...no map has a valid license (though the wince emulator admits it), and I have tried with all validators.

I think It's one in which Tomtom can´t execute. Simply as this.

Hi,

link from post #1 working. You can find everything needed in this topic.

@ ardyles:

if "not enough memory" means you have no route planned.

if "no valid license" means Tomtom sees the map but it is not correctly patched. (remember to patch first with the emulator ID to get a planned route, then with your device ID to launch the map on it)

In the maps 925.xxxx series, only the 5409, 5439 and 5440 are working

thanks ViP..

I do all those things. With winCE emulator and the same navigator and map 925.5439 That I have in the sd I prepare a route from scratch (new mapsettings.cfg) and I put In the carpet of the map and that inside the navigator (mapsettings). I update the pahts and map of the tt7Navigagor.mscr.

I genearate de dct with the id of the tomtom in the card (not that of the emulator), and with this inside, I put the map in the sd.

When I try to launch the tomtom Navigator (or tt7 Navigator) for a couple of second the map appears to be working, but then comes the "not enough memory" and crash. I have tried all the combinations..
No luck but many thanks!

@ ardyles

one more thing to look at:

did you modify the "TT7 Navigator.mscr" file?

there are 2 lines to modify regarding the map you are using.

for exemple, if i am using a map called "Europe South 1GB 860.3126"

line 8 must be: Delete ("\Storage Card\Europe South 1GB 860.3126\MapSettings.cfg")

and line 16: XCopy( "\Storage Card\Navigator\MapSettings\*.*", ("\Storage Card\Europe South 1GB 860.3126\")

If these lines are not correct, your planed route will not be seen.

Good luck!

many thanks paradiabol!

I expected your advise worked but..i have looked and all it's correct... I include it here:

RegDeleteKey ("HKLM", "System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power\ActivityTimers", True, True)
RegDeleteKey ("HKLM", "System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power\State\SystemIdle", True, True)

Delete ("\SDMMC\Iberia_925_5439\MapSettings.cfg")
sleep 100

Delete ("\SDMMC\Navigator\CurrentMap.dat")
Delete ("\SDMMC\Navigator\UserPatch.dat")

sleep 100

XCopy( "\SDMMC\Navigator\MapSettings\*.*", ("\SDMMC\Iberia_925_5439\")
sleep 100

SET SETMEM, "\SDMMC\Navigator\SetMem.exe"

Run (%SETMEM%, "70000")
sleep 100

#Start Navigator
#Run(SystemPath("ScriptPath")\"TomTom Navigator.exe")

Run("\SDMMC\Navigator\TomTom Navigator.exe")
Waitfor("TomTom Navigator", 1000)

while (WndActive ("TomTom Navigator"))
sleep(15000)
endwhile
Kill("Tomtom Navigator.exe")

Exit
____________________________________________________________________________________________________

with what I have said about all the experiments I have done...I think there's no more choices to experiment to full work Tomtom in this device... the error "not memory bla bla" keeps appearing when all things are correct and the map has veen visualized for two o three seconds...

many thanks!

@ ardyles,

sorry you can't fix it.

I experienced same trouble when trying to use my own Data.chk.

This is only working with the one you get in the archive:

TT7 Navigator.exe (by TabardaJunior) and Data.chk are compulsory
