Do you can inform me whic version it is better for work well ?
I woul like to have Europe ...anf if possible one link only..
Thanks :-)

guess you're confusing the issue. If you want to have "Europe" you need to look for maps. One link only I guess you need a torrent.

Currently running (try to run) TomTom on a WINCE device (unlocked Nextar) and i'm wondering if anyone has a solution to make the task bar go away when I run the application?

Try closing down any other apps you may have running in the background. This worked for me.

Hi, :)
The have installed in Acer d140 with WinCe V4.2 the TomTom v. 7.910 and the map italia v. 815.2024 and it works well enough, some small problem there is alone that if someone can resolve me I thank it.
When starting the TT7 for a destination, after few minutes appears a window backgraund debug: "key offset is 2"; "key offset is 3" and so on.
Thanks

How do i install maps?
Could i get a small tutorial of how to install this?
Thank you.

What i did is:
- Installed TomTom on device (using a SE X1)
- Opened it, (it says: no map found)
- Cracked map, navigated to folder "Navigator" on phone
- Created a folder, renamed it "map"
- In there, i put the folder "Scandinavien 835.2421"
- Open tomtom again. but it still says no map found :(?

You put the folder "Scandinavien 835.2421" in the root of the storage card and not in a sub-folder called map.

No, all the TT China maps, that I've looked at (including 860, 855, etc) are all PNA - they work on TT machines and not PDAs.

Still no matter what I do, TomTom 7+ will lag about 2-3 seconds behind... I even unlocked my phone just to try a new radio to see if that would "HELP"...

Worked 100% fine on a old phone (titan) that didn't even support GPS but, get a phone that is GPS enabled, and it has nothing but problems...

Don't know if it's the chip set in the TP2, but I still have my vogue in the car with tomtom 6.x on it because my TP2 p!sses me off so much with it's lag.
I've tried my old 6.x intall and new 7.x installs, I have crazy lag on all.

Use Google maps!
Just sucks when you are roaming, cost me $47 in data for 1 day using g-maps in Toronto.

I had the HTC Diamond and the onlylag was due to the showing of POI on the display (speed-camera warnings still popped up).

Have you tried different versions of TT7?
Is TT7 installed on the phone or on the SD Card?

What ROM & RADIO is the TP2 using?

Hi guys,
I would be happy to hear any ideas how to get it works. I have unlocked navigon 7200 (7310) with MioPocket and WinCE5 in it. I cannot install any TomTom version on it. I have got all problems mentioned on the forum: No memory enough; no maps found; your device is not matched; freezing after sound select…
But the main problem is: my .bif file doesn’t have DeviceID . So I cannot unlock map. It shows only signs **********. It’s like a hidden password and no any UniqueID at all. The keygen doesn’t accept this DeviceID code, and the map is not opened. I tried WinCE emulator with the same soft and was able to emulate TomTom working with no GPS signal, of course. It means that I do everything correct. So, how to get good DeviceID or put some fake manually. Or what I can to do? Is Navigon 7200 with MioPocket has something special to stop TomTom working? I cannot believe in it. Thank you, people.
