In the miomap.exe miomap.exe.id miomap.scp you get the following:
- miomap.exe - is just a simple launcher application
- miomap.exe.id - is the ID file for the launcher
- miomap.scp - is the config file for the launcher, where you can specify where your navigation software's exe is.
No more id generator needed, since the ID never changes for the launcher. All you have to do is to make sure the correct path to the real exe is given in miomap.scp. Very clever and simple!

I'll try it tomorrow when I install an emulator !!!

For those who are running Igo8, the best approach (IMHO), is to use a working scripting program (like the MortScript from C310 autorun) to launch Igo8 instead. Basically, rename the scripting program to miomap.exe, generate a corresponding valid miomap.exe.id, customize a script to launch Igo8 (or whatever other program). So you would have a miomap.exe (MortScript program), miomap.exe.id (for checksum), and a script for the miomap.exe (MortScript) to use. The best thing about this approach is that each time you update Igo8 or decide to run another navigation program, you won't need to generate another miomap.exe.id. This is what I have done for my C520 so far, and it works great seeing how Igo8 basically gets updated every month.

I couldn't do it as you said but it doesn't matter anymore because it worked with the 3 files solution (Mio_cx20_pna_devices.rar ==> post no. 33) ..... THX anyway .....

droland is right. Generate it once and for all for the scripting program ( by the way it is already generated...) and forget about it. I don't want to generate it each time a new version of IGO is out.

I didn't SDCARD because I have internal memory !!!

In the internal memory you copy the miomap.exe miomap.exe.id miomap.scp

And if you runing igo8.exe from internal memoriy the scp edit to this:

call "\My Flash Disk\Miomap\Miomap\igo8.exe"

if you want to run sd:

call "\Storage Card\igo8\igo8.exe"

Understand? And if coming a new igo8.exe, just replaced, because the id is the miomap.exe and miomap.scp scripting program...

I followed your instructions:
I copied the miomap.exe miomap.exe.id miomap.scp into the internal memory.

And edit the miomap.scp to this:
call "\Storage Card\igo8\igo8.exe"

Clicked on the Navigate button, but nothing happened.

I also copied the mioautorun.exe into the internal memory , but still nothing happened.

Maybe the miomap.exe.id is not corresponding with the miomap.exe and my Mio c520.
(When I tryed to generate the miomap.exe.id on my Mio c520, it said "Some files are missing.Can not genrate ID", Finely I generated the miomap.exe.id on another Mio c320.)

Please help!!!
