i've tryed to install this version but it installs in different folder so i had to download maps again..and no matter how many times i tryed the download stops at some point and won't continue until restart, so i couldn't get the maps and returned to the version i was using. has anyone had this problem? thanx

If i am not mistaken this version will let you download more maps, the major will only let you download one map and that's it.

yes, that seems to be the difference, thanx.

Is ist best to load the whole europe map if theres enough space on sd?
Are there the same details included than in the splittet maps for each country / region?

I dont know, i would think that the 2GB map contains all of the other maps but as there is no map viewer for the PC like with Garmin it is not easy to know exactly what you have.

Maybe some maps are missing...For example when i went to school i was taught that Turkey was NOT a part of Europe but i only have the 2GB Europe map installed and i have Turkey as well.

Hello,

I was also using v9.1.0.214 MAJOR, with no problems.
Uninstalled, deleted folder.
Installed this version, and a new version of lucky patcher - and no luck :

- i have no option to lucky patch it

Only the same as mobisat :

remove license verification
Remove Google adds
patch on reboot
launch application
backup
restore

It seems like there is something of the old app hanging and - dunno what to do.

None of this options give me a result afterwards...

Tried to :

-uninstalled via titanium backup (both the copilot and lucky patcher)
-cleared all cache and all the requiems of those applications

Nope, still no result.

Try this option :

remove license verification

I bet you will have 96% luck..

Please remember to:

Install Copilot.
DONT RUN AFTER INSTALL.. (If you run before patch you will need to uninstall and start over)
Run lucky patcher and use above option.
THEN run Copilot.

Worked fine for me, on HTC Desire.

I actually rooted my phone for this (which was a bit scary!).
Follow the instructions as in the post above me, and it works - You'll need to register with CoPilot (any email address), and you then get access to ALL the European maps.
Download individual country map(s), or get the whole darn continent and DRIVE !

MUCH appreciated!

I had it done - the removing of license, and tryed to add it again, but there was no option - again.

Ok, here is what I did next.

I used a blank SD card.
Backed up my old system on old SD card.
Done factory reset.
Installed Copilot 9,1,234 again, and only that!
Installed Lucky Patcher.
DID NOT START THE Copilot Live - but I started the Lucky patcher.
And still it only gave me the option of REMOVING THE LICENSE VERIFICATION!
I tryed to remove the License before starting the Copilot Live, and still no luck. I mean, it says :

Pattern Patch N1 - successful ...
.
.
Pattern Patch N4 - successful ...

You Have 96% Luck...
Please run the Program for testing!
If program is not working please reinstall, and do not use this patch again.
And ok.

It starts, I tryed with old mail address, and it DID NOT WORK.

Only when i put new mail address not previously used with ALK, than it worked.

Now - reverting to my backed up system, and will try to make it work!

Anyway,

Nope, there is something within the OS that hangs up, and I am not able to make it work in backed up OS.
OK.
Will do it another way.
Backing up selected apps with Titanium backup, and doing it on a fresh system, with cleansed SD Card and specific folders backed up.
And it worked !
Partially restored applications I needed, and back on track.

Thank you for this release.
I have a rooted Nexud S (with ICS) and Lucky patcher seems to consider I am not rooted. Did someone succeed installing Copilot on Nexus S with ICS ? Note that Sd card is not a physical one but a directory of main disk.
Any suggestion ? Thanks.

On some phones (may be all?) there's a difference between having a rooted phone and having a phone with S-OFF (security off).
I rooted my phone (HTC Desire) and I thought I was done, but the "system" part of the phone's internal disk was still locked - yes, even after I'd rooted it.
I had to go thru another process to enable S-OFF (which was more scary than rooting!).

Once I'd done that, everything worked fine (I seem to recall my phone would re-boot when attempting to modify anything in the protected system partition).

I have installed, patched, created ID, went through the installation wizard until I wanted to download the maps. Whichever map I want to DL, I get the same message:
This map was not found [-2:3] -- the only thing that changes is the number of the map I want to DL. Any idea? I'm using galaxy note with LC1 rooted ROM.

Found the reason straight after posting this  seems that the wifi which I used had some ports closed. When I used the mobile H+ connection, it started downloading.
