Works on Acer A500. If you follow install instructions and get a valid licence the free upgrade also works.

Just to be clear the serial referred to is the google receipt number.

how to get(switch) free to other region's map.
1-install .apk as above.
2-upgrade to latest version of copilot.
3-goto settings/applications find copilot 8 and clear data first than uninstall.
4-goto settings/applications find copilot gps (version 9) clear data first than uninstall.
5-goto google play and re install latest copilot and create new user id
6-choose new region map.
7-enjoy free switch to different region
it works perfect on my galaxy s3.good luck for all.

The message that ur refering to on the webpage is just a rather large popup.,
If u look at the top right corner of it u will see the X to close it.
