Can't really make that work. The app and map gets installed but the App is not fully upgraded. No 3D maps etc. Hmm, something wrong?

For 9.1.0.350 I followed the instructions but after step 4. then install lucky patcher, run it and select remove license verification

I still had to create a CoPilot user account.

Is this normal ?

Yes, this is normal. You must have Copilot account for software to work even if is cr...ed.

Could not make it work... after following all instructions incl. the lucky patcher thing. When I set up an account it says that the account could not be verified with the Android purchase.

I get a 56% success rate on Lucky Patcher. Does that kick it or was I looking for more?
The friendly people of CoPilot do give me 12 months of traffic for free. Good folks.

I've currently got the same version number but only the full edition rather than premium so when I click the active route it takes me to Google play stating I've got to pay £10.99.

To install the premium version can only just down the apk then overwrite and luckypatch again or will I have to uninstall and start again from scratch? Also is it really worth doing, how good is the active route function?

Thanks :-)

If you don't want to root there is another way. In the GPS section of mobilism you will find CoPilot Live 8.2.0.1175, this works without patching. The instructions are in the post but one instruction is a bit unclear. Where it tells you to install a 25 digit number it refers to the Google Receipt number not a serial number. So install 8.2.0.117 follow the instructions and you should end up with a valid user licence. Don't bother to download a big map just choose SE or SW England. In the settings you can check the status of your installation and note down the licence number (five blocks of letters and numbers). With CoPilot running you will be offered a free upgrade. Click on the upgrade and wait for it to install and copy the UK and Ireland map (about 180Mb WiFi needed for this). It picks up the licence from the original and it installs with no problems, you end up with version 9.1.5.79. I did this on an un rooted Acer A500, after the install I uninstalled the 8.2.0.1175 version and deletated the folder associated with it, the new version is in a different folder. Creating an account only involves and email address and a password, they just send you a welcome email.

Hope this helps.

Don't need to install the 8.2.0.1175 version first to be able to upgrade to 9.1.5.119
Just install it directly from Google play portal its free!!!
