Do I need lucky patcher for this one or is it already patched. Most of the recent releases need Lucky Patcher, here's hoping this doesn't.

Updated: Just checked that in your downloads it says to use Lucky patcher to patch it. Hope we see a non LuckyPatcher version.

ok so to confirm. install the apk. dont run. then install lucky patcher. then run lucky patcher and select custom patch? or should i select remove license verification? also does the app automatically download the maps? first time installing gps software lol. thanks.

2. install APK
3. dont run it
4. then install lucky patcher, run it and select remove license verification
5. start copilot, download maps you need
6. have fun

Working on my Xoom. Locks up occasionally when selecting the route demo same as the USA version.

A minor annoyance that I can live with.

I dont know how but I have got 22 months of traffic for free. I followed the instructions above and it installed with ease. Thanks for this.

do i need root?

I understand that you must root to run Lucky Patcher.
If you don't want to root there is another way. In the GPS section of mobilism you will find CoPilot Live 8.2.0.1175, this works without patching. The instructions are in the post but one instruction is a bit unclear. Where it tells you to install a 25 digit number it refers to the Google Receipt number not a serial number. So install 8.2.0.117 follow the instructions and you should end up with a valid user licence. Don't bother to download a big map just choose SE or SW England. In the settings you can check the status of your installation and note down the licence number (five blocks of letters and numbers). With CoPilot running you will be offered a free upgrade. Click on the upgrade and wait for it to install and copy the UK and Ireland map (about 180Mb WiFi needed for this). It picks up the licence from the original and it installs with no problems, you end up with version 9.1.5.79. I did this on an un rooted Acer A500, after the install I uninstalled the 8.2.0.1175 version and deletated the folder associated with it, the new version is in a different folder. Creating an account only involves and email address and a password, they just send you a welcome email.
