@petetong. To use the post codes not only do you need the zip file but a folder called tomtom on your SD cards root if your using the old version, this is fixed in the new one.

My easy install will do all that for you.

What else should I know?
The file locations are optimized for maximum run and startup speed. This is why the voices are in the Tomtom navigator folder. Where it installs tomtom is down to you, select the internal memory for maximum speed or the SD card to save space, the install is modified to allow this.

Why do I put the rasters and other files in the root of the SD when you can put them elsewhere to keep it tidy? Simple, this layout is compatible with TomTom home software for your PC. Put them anywhere else and it will not work!!!!!

The OS color scheme included matches that of the Ordinance survey maps, the Lexus scheme matches the dashbord color scheme of the Lexus IS200/300 as well as the Mercedes SLK

* Simply download the package of your choice
* Extract the entire archive to your SD card
* Run ttn602_setup.cab from your device
* Select where you want to install, SD or device
* Run tomtom and register using any code you like (if asked)

Because v6.02 works very well on a windows smartphone and v6.03 does not (well it sort of does but you cant control it without a lot of hassle).

I have tried my best searching through differnt threads and the forum on how to install tomtom 6 (or 6.02/6.03) on My MIO C310X PNA unit but dont have any luck so far.

After I have put the cab file on the SD card and try to run it, it would run and then I would click OK, but it wouldn't do anything.

If anyone can help, I would greatly appreciate it!

I used this software to navigate to Wisconsin from Chicago...and it was just horrible. I'm not complaining about the functions but the routing technology it uses. Even with the fastest and the easiest route methods selected, it finds the most ridiculous ways to get around town. In the end I was fed-up and used Google Maps to route. Although it was helpful when I went into rural ares where I didn't have a signal to use Google maps.

Probably depends a lot on which map version you were using.
Some of the recent North America maps have drawn a lot of complaints.

Someone please help. I just installed TT6.02 and found that it is not working in my HP 6965. Hence i uninstalled it and did a soft reset. After that, my sound in the HP is not working. Wat is the problem and what should i do to may my sound come back again?

tks after some research, i found the answer in pg 24. tks so much. i am happy to get my original sound back. this teach me a lesson not to download tomtom anymore. am happy just to use garmin que and mapking 07.
