.EXE Extracts.
It copies the folder TomTom_C220 to the storage card.
It also copies, the folder of the map to the root of the card.
From the browser of your liberated PNA it executes the file that there is inside of call:
TomTom Navigator.exe, it should start up without problems.

The configuration of the GPS is:
Other GPS of NMEA--> Speed Trans. 4800--> GPS_COM
If he/she doesn't find you the maps, SOFT-RESET.
If it takes you a lot in PLUNDERING sign GPS... SOFT-RESET
... the first time takes a while.
that is everything, enjoy your MioC220 and sorry for my language, im Spanish...
...the translation is made with Power Translator XD XD XD

TOMTOM in most of forums nobody has been able to make it work for this PNA, or for that didn't recognize the maps, or because when installing it they lacked files, etc
this GPS is not recognized by ActiveSync, reason why an installer doesn't exist for him, CABs that circulate for this forum, is to extract them, to modify them, to copy files to windows, etc and they have just worked even this way......
in the registration you changed the route to My Documents for the maps and TomTom not toward case... I have proven with many tomtom versions and ALONE I have gotten that this works
The only thing that this version has of special is that it WORKS, it is not necessary to change the windows registration and the maps directly the search in Storage Card...

to he/she has to see it that my C220 is European??? don't I know it, do you leave me doubting, this version works perfectly in wince 4.2, the tweak doesn't work, but it starts up and it recognizes it...and my c220 is wince 5, and it also works me like you see
for that reason I am missed, perhaps it is for the ROM of C220, I have partners with the same problem
my ROM is:R07.4.0168.0612

hi bizio,

just wanna tell you that it does not work with mio c210/win ce 4.2.

it has old "no map found"-problem.

i have to edit the registry too.

you know that tomtom 6.02 is working on c210 without the "no map found" poblem, if you edit the registry HKEY_LOCAL_Machine/Explorer/Shell Folders "My Documents" to "Storage Card".

why are you creating an "sd-card-installer". it would be much easier if you only provide the files to copy on sd-card.

i think thats the problem of ethan2005.
you have start the tomtom.exe from your desktop computer not from the sd-card.

see you

I tried to play around with it but still come up zero. My ROM is R6.5............ Do you think that cause the problem ?
I heard your partner have the same problem with me then Does he/she fix it ???
Why don't you give us what files do you have in your SD card (without maps is OK)?. I think that must easy for us to test.

Many thanks
