This is a the version without problems:

http://thepiratebay.org/tor/3696570/TomTom_Navigator_6.030_(8320)___UK_and_IE_Plus_Major_Roads_of_WE

No keygen required. The map called 2577 should be in it.
A version with a map called Guam is the WRONG version.
Just copy to SD or CF card and you are ready to drive.
As easy as that.

I have downloaded the files and followed the instructions....however TomTom has No map found..

can someone help me.....where do i put the map??? which folder... thanks

Try this simple install_TomTom 6 v6.030.8320, & put the map folder to the root of your m/card, makeing sure it is not sat in a sub_folder!!!!!

HOW TO OVERCOME THE 'NO MAPS FOUND' PROBLEM

PDA users with that problem, only who bought Tomtom, can ask Tomtom for a patch.
So also with a licensed Tomtom 6.030, some PDA users have that problem.
I know for sure Dell Axim X5 is one of them.

You know the map folder should be in the root of the SD or CF card!

For those users with the 'NO MAPS FOUND' problem here a work-around:
Tomtom tries to find the map on the BIS (Build In Storage) instead of on the SD or CF card.
In all those years I've never used the BIS so I won't miss it...
Therefore you have to edit the register.
Get Total Commander for the PDA.
http://www.ghisler.com/pocketpc.htm
Download file tcmdpocketarm, and run it on your PC. This will install it on your PDA.
Or 'Resco Explorer 2007' for pocket pc also has a register editor.

Edit the register as folows:
Go to \\\registry\HKLM\System\StorageManager\AutoLoad\PS M
Open the key "Dll" by "double-tapping" the file
Change its 'String value' to "PSMFSD.dll.xxx" and press OK
Close Total Commander

Soft reset your device and the BIS has 'disappeared'.
Now start TomTom and everything works as it should.

Thanks for this app... I got this working very good, and I love it.
Just one question though... I've TT installed on my memory card. But when I install this on memory card instead of the device, I don't have the home plugin. Is there anyway I can enable the homeplugin without installing it on my device itselfs, so I can keep TT on my storage card?

Thanks for the help

Cheers

You are wright. Mixed map and folder.
However:
The TomTom_Navigator_6.030_(8320)___ version with folder 2577 in it
there is no need to activate maps! No keygen required.
All version 6.75 maps work without activation.
Allways put maps in the root of your memory card.
In the root you should see the folder (=mapname) .
You can put different maps on one memory card.
You can switch maps in the Tomtom menu.

Could someone please explain to me what tt6today.cab does exactly? It doesn't seem to be required for ttn.cab to install and work (completely function). What am I missing by not installing this tt6today.cab?

Thanks.

For what today screen? I have a stock AT&T Tilt (no HTC Home screen) and installing ti doesn't change the way anything looks or any options. Is it only worth installing if your using the Kaiser ROM?

It installs a today plugin for any windows device...this has nothing to do with HTC Home...it puts an option in settings > today > Items.

can somebody help me out please. i'm quite new to the "gps world" lately, i downloaded the latest map of califonia from Twingo's latest maps sticky. it's a .fbl, i now downloaded this program, however, first when i opened it, it said something that it couldn't open because it was missing data, so i put the .chk file in the same directory. now it's just stuck on the tomtom two hands screen for some reason. i don't know if it'll get past it or not, but will this program open my .fbl map? thanks
