I'm new to posting, can someone let me know if it is considered polite to PM those who donate WRZ$ for a book release (direct donation, not the 1WRZ$ thank you, which I assume does not need one). I'm wary of spamming with needless messages but on the other hand I don't want to seem rude.

Hi, CM! :)

To make a personal WRZ$ donation to the original poster of a release is a thoughtful, kind and uncommon gesture. So, yes, in my view it is appropriate and the polite thing to do to thank the person who has taken that extra, rare step.

Of course, clicking the Thank You button is also thoughtful - and the least registered users should do, given it's both painless and free.

I hope this is the right place to post this question, I have read the F.A.Q. and I can't seem to find the edit/delete button for my posts in the Ebook requests page. Can someone help?

I was wondering If you could delete a post.. Someone was looking for a book and I posted the wrong book and a link.. Why can't I delete the post? When lets say by a game of rush hour I can delete my post.

You can find some info in this post here.

You can only delete your post if you are the last poster.

I have put a couple of book requests in today and it's really unusual that nobody has viewed them. It just says views 0 reply 0. Have I turned something off and made myself annonomous. Just seems unusual.

Can you make clear to a newbie how to find a book and download it? All I seem to see are forum requests that may or may not have a link, and frequently the links are spam stuff. Is there a book repository (even if it is links to alternate download locations) other than perusing forum conversations?

Wondering if I need to adjust a setting here? I'm downloading ebooks, and they're epubs but they're only opening in ADE and not being added to my Calibre. Has anyone had this happen recently?

I'm not sure where to put this....

I'm looking for a book, it was previously uploaded (with a mirror as well). The book has been removed on both main & mirror.

Can i make a new request post? I have already PM'ed the original poster of the book I'm looking for, who answered with, it was removed (of which I know).

TIA

When I request a download frequently I get just a grey box showing expiration date and current date and that's it. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks

Sometimes in my search for a book I don't get the book to extract only a grey box with the expiration date and then the current date.
Why does this happen and can I avoid it in the future. Thanks.
