Please use ES File Explorer/ Or any other app to display hidden apps (Most Gear VR games icon / shortcuts are hidden) to create a shortcut for the Minecraft app!! Launch and insert your phone to the Gear VR. Did not test online, do not recommend to do so either.

NO, I did NOT have to sign for my phone, it was simple as install and play...
