The patched is the "cracked" version, while the mod has the default existing epub books removed from main list)

Why are non of the versions work for me? I am on Android 8.1 and when i start the App it is frozen so that i cant do anything with it

You can either hide root from it or use this version which doesn't have that problem (tested on a 7.1 S5 and 4.4 tablet, both with root and no hiding).
