Yes it does, I just logged in fine with my token. It's User error on your part dude!!

I've been using it since yesterday no problems with Token login .
Also you don't need a VPN if you are in supported countries.

You didn't do it correctly, also if username and password is working for you no need to upgrade, keep using 2.1.8.

Chrome

Open Chrome
Go to deezer.com and log into your account
After logging in press F12 to open up Developer Tools
Go under the Application tab (if you don't see it click the double arrow)
Open the cookie dropdown
Select .deezer.com
Find the arl cookie (It should be 192 chars long)
Copypaste the value it into the login form
Hit the login button on Deezloader
