Does anyone still have lag issues on this version of Tomtom on a Touch Pro 2 ? I have a 2-5 second lag on Tomtom...

Is there a newer version than 7.918.9193 ?

I have 7.918.9193 installed on my Touch HD, with radio version 1.13.25.24, and I don't have any lag.
I use an external RoyalTek GPS receiver with Sirf Star III chipset.

I use TP2 with Energy ROM and do not have any lagging.
Make sure your microSD card is OK or try another one.

You need to provide a little more information, but assuming you have the latest maps then this is the thread you should be looking at.

Assuming that he has a Windows Mobile phone with inbuilt GPS, then you can use * THIS *.

It is primarily designed as an anti-theft device, but would do what you want. The only cost is sending a text from your phone (any type of mobile phone will do) and your son's phone's cost of replying with a text.

Yes I have the car icons working with this version.

The .bmp files are in a folder named "cars", this folder is in a folder named "art". This is then placed into the "navigator" folder found in Program files on my PDA. (SD card for me as that's where I've installed TomTom)

Strange.. I have the folders + images all in place & I still get the "no photos found" error.

I copied these images from my tomtom go. Could this be the problem?

I did have this problem once myself. I think I uninstalled TomTom and maps and reinstalled them.
Although I wonder if it depends on which download of 7.918.9193 you use, because I have tried a few.

I have installed the TTN7.918.9193_VGA_Black_NOBT.cab & the TTN_7.918.9193_VGA_black.cab & still no joy. It also appears that tomtom home will not work with this version either. but that's no great loss.
What file are you using?

I will try reinstalling everything from scratch to see if that helps.

Many thanks

I have TTN_7.918.9193_VGA_black.cab installed. 14.440Kb. I don't use TT home myself.
