Overview: Timothy Ellis lives on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. He has been a farm worker, Antique Dealer, Computer Programmer, Systems Analyst, Operations Manager of a small retail chain and Retail Store Owner. He has long been a player of Space Genre computer games, and since 2004, has been writing game guides for the Egosoft X Universe series, culminating in the X3 Handbook, available now on Kindle. 1. One Last Battle (Stories from The Hunter Legacy Universe)
This story occurs 100 years before the beginning of Hero at Large. It is also two days before the 2515 story in The Long Road to Gaia.
In 2515, 100 years before Hero at Large, the Yorktown Recon fleet is scouting the Cuba system in Earth sector, at the beginning of the last big sector war. A broken fighter pilot makes a choice, without knowing living or dying has consequences to the future.
2. 1969 (The Long Road to Outback #1)
Thirteen doesn't like humans. The last thing he wants is to be assigned a mission to babysit them. Given a choice, he'd happily let them blow themselves up, after he saved all the cats first. Exactly how humans could ever have anything to do with galaxy wide consequences is completely beyond his ability to understand. When asked to perform an intervention, there was always freewill to choose not to. But in this case, does he really have a choice?
(Originally released as a stand alone story, it was subsequently included in The Long Road to Gaia, book 10 of The Hunter Legacy series)
3. Was that you?
Suzy is 12, and every night she chats online with her friend. But strange things start happening after each chat. Things which bring great change in Australia, and out in the world. But who would want to talk to a 12 year old about such things? Suzy starts to form a theory, but she knows no-one is going to believe her. Besides, its fun to ask someone, "Was that you?"
(This book was released as a stand alone story, and subsequently used as a movie in Crossover: It's a Jon Hunter Thing, Book 1 in The Hunter Imperium series).
