To get VIP, we have to donate more than $5, which is around 100WRZ$. Some people is willing to donate $, other donate their effort. However, it's better if both way should be considered equally.

In the other hand, $US worth more than WRZ$ :). So I'm suggesting to open up a system of exchanging your WRZ$ for the VIP system, but with more donation. Example, to get the VIP it's 100WRZ$ if you donate $US or 200WRZ$ for people who try hard to post.

- This will give people more challenge to post, "maybe" less $US donators, but the forum will survive more with more posts.

The WRZ$ rewarded to you after a donation is just part of the VIP process, so a $5 donation does not equal the same amount as 100 WRZ$. The 20 times your donation amount is a thank you/recognition for the donation you made, it is not an equivalent payment of WRZ$ for your donation, for example there is no option to 'purchase' WRZ$ using cash.

The donations are rewarded so heavily because they pay for the hosting for the forum, without them, there would be no site, no forum, no software :(.

If people want VIP status, they have options other than donating, and that is contributing to the site in a beneficial way, such as releasing, cracking, or being recognized for their helpfulness in the forums.

sdawson explained the matter absolutely correctly. The 20 x donation in WRZ$ a person receives after the donation is part of a process that encourages users to donate as well as thanks them for the donation. You can not buy VIP access using the same reasoning. What you can do however, is earn a Major Warez Uploader Title, allowing you automatically have access to the VIP forums.

We didn't say it was right or wrong, we were explaining why it wasn't going to happen. We could have replied with 'No', but then you would have wanted to know why.

If you're going to make suggestions, you need to not take it to heart when they are refused. Writing can never be taken in the context in which you read it as 9 times out of 10 you hear it differently in your head to how the author intended you to hear it.
