Hint for all who hate the huge CPU and memory consumption of this ever-bigger peddler app:

use any process tool (e.g. 3C Toolbox) and disable the underlying services for this app at runtime, forever.
This way the app will NO LONGER automatically start after 'killing' it, releasing its memory for good.
The app will continue to work fine in this mode, just the immediate AliPay process will not pop up, so you need to pay from the 'order' page instead. You can still collect your daily coins, browse, control your account etc.

I was tired to see 150MB of precious memory being sucked away by this single AliExpress thing, even when not even starting it myself. It was running ALL the time by itself, no longer..
Eat that, Jack Ma!

Yes, this 'hack' works only on devices that allow the stopping of services, using tools like the forementioned 3C apps (system tuner, process monitor etc). This most likely needs 'root' privileges.
It could probably be compiled this way by 'hackers' and distributed for any user in this 'light' mode.

The mod needs to be done only once after installation of this notorious memory thief: open the 'Task Manager' list and select the running Ali app (usually way on top of a memory sorted list); in the new screen scroll to the "Service" tab on the right and deselect all services but the 'channel.service'.
After using AliExpress simply quit the app and it WILL shut down for good and not recover until manually started again. Obviously no push or message functions will be executed. But who gives a f.. - all I want is to collect my coins, check my orders, buy new stuff and CLOSE the app afterwards. And by 'close' I expect it to shut down for good until I WANT to use it again!

It is a rotten shame that Android does not close apps when users 'quit', allowing them to run in the background all the time. What a waste of resources, battery life and memory. A short glance at the long 'process' list sends shudders down my spine; apps are permanently running that I never even started, never used once during the entire day. They start on their own, triggered by events like going online or simply rebooting the device.
Android sucks, even in the newest version.

Never have this problem and in Android you can stop any program autostart, background or notification.

No, you cannot prevent AliExpress from starting, not even if adding it to the 'suppress auto start' list.
Probably related to the oodles of hidden services it utilizes.
And the app will not stop if you kill the process in task managers either. It will restart within seconds again.,
Seen on all my Android devices. My method works for me.
