I have a lot of books on MEGA that I'd like to share. Can I use MEGA links?

Yes, you can use MEGA as one of the two mandatory links. The other link must be from the list above.

Files seem to stay on Solidfiles forever. Is there any reason that can't be a Mobilism Premium supported site? I searched here but didn't see any discussion of why not. Thanks.

ETA: FYI, FilesCDN has announced a close down date of 30 June 2019.

We tried Solidfiles long ago but it could not be added, not all filehosts accept to be supported. And yes, the files stay forever in Solidfiles if you are lucky and your account doesn't get summarily suspended: http://forum.mobilism.org/viewtopic.php?p=4835878#4835878

Thank you for your response. When I have an hour or several to follow that link (and its links) completely, I'm sure I will be very much the wiser. It looks like an epic in the history of Mobilism.

The point was Solidfiles and its policies, not the history of Mobilism. Here's the reproduction of the post so nobody has to spend time following links:

Dear Nova,

While looking at the history of your account, you have uploaded a
total of 74 files. Unfortunately, we have received 3 notices about 3 files
infringing 3rd party copyrights - which is both against the terms and
conditions of our system, and possibly against international laws.

We are required to suspend and/or terminate the accounts of repeat
infringers.

Please make sure not to upload any copyright infringing files in the
future, to keep your account alive.

Kind Regards,
The Solidfiles Copyright Team

Well, sure, I did read that. And right below your quoted text was this:

Dedicated to those who moan and groan all the time about 'difficult' file hosts.

Hey! It was a fun read. Highly recommended. And thanks again - for all your work.

If this isn't already a sticky it should be. (top of announcements please) I had to dig a bit to find this.

My priority with links is premium users first and I try to post 2 supported links in my new uploads.

So, I always try to stay abreast of which filehosts are supported. I also include mirrors to unsupported filehosts in my posts, and anyone who doesn't like the popup-hell they get there, well... they should invest in premium.

Hi!

May I suggest two file sharing sites?

Each has a clean interface, no pop-ups, no puzzles to solve, links last forever, and there's no malware. They are...

https://workupload.com
https://edfile.pro

http://uploads4u.net/ seems to be down in a way that doesn’t suggest it’ll come back up.

Why is zippyshare no longer a supported file host?

Zippyshare blocked IPs in several countries (UK, Germany, Spain) from accessing it. Our server is in one of those countries and as a result the Premium Downloader is no longer able to access Zippyshare.

It's not quite so simple. We have to reach agreements with filehosts before adding them to the Premium Downloader. Not everyone is interested, and not all filehosts' software is able to work with the Premium Downloader.
