Is there a version of Sygic that can be installed on top of an older version, or does is always require you to uninstall everything first before installing the newest version.

I would like the newest version but not at the expense of having to download all those maps again.

you must always download the version of same Dev. Another dev is different signature, then you must uninstall the apk and reinstall new one. With apk from Same Dev, you can install on the old one.

I've tried Sygic many times to install over top with the same dev but never works for me unless first uninstalling everything.

Confirm parsing error on Android 5.1.1.
Working on Android 8.0.0.

has anyone encounter any issues when:
1. signing own Sygic Account? the build-in map downloader not accessible afterwards

2. trying to enable Dropbox sync? unable to connect to Dropbox even done the authorisation

This is a moded version of the original application. Many times the dev has warned against signing in with your email in this app. If you do, you will be blocked by sygic.
