you're 100% wrong apps that can't be used upon a release aren't allowed for example CKayTV newest version just went full paid app so unless it was fully cracked it can't be used without paying for it

Use PiHole to block ads, I don't get any on any devices - and no need to mess with the apk to patch it either.

That's too much fiddling around for me. Raspberry Pi, Linux, router settings, DNS etc, etc.

Plus you can't filter out embedded ads.
