#1 - Meg and the Disappearing Diamonds: Upton Charles is a lot like you and me, He likes to play with his friends, go for nice walks, and enjoy good things to eat. Except Upton isn't like you and me...because he's a dog, a Bishon Frise
(that's "BEE-shon free-SAY"...and when he wants something to eat, he has to sneeze first! Upton is also a pretty smart little dog who knows a clue when he smells one. As you'll find out in Disappearing Diamonds. Who took the valuable Van Camp Necklace from the Art Museum? Maybe you can guess before Upton does!

#3 - Meg and The Treasure Nobody Saw: It was a dark, stormy night when Meg Duncan saw the mysterious figure in white entering the Haywood house. Who could that be? she wondered. The Haywood house was deserted for the summer - or was it? What about the muddy footprints leading into the house, or the face at the upstairs window? Meg had a new mystery to solve...

#4 - Meg and the Ghost of Hidden Springs: This is another in the series of Meg mysteries, possibly published in the early '70s. The storyline is eerie -- Meg discovers that an old mansion is occupied by what seems to be a restless spirit. The ghost is a young girl who comitted suicide decades earlier after no one showed up for a fancy party she gave. Meg, with the help of her best friend Kerry, her father and others in the community, unravels the mystery. This book is entertaining and surprisingly complex, particularly in how the ghost is unmasked.

#5 - Meg and the Mystery Of The Black Magic Cave: Merrybones, Maine. . . Even the name of the place sounded mysterious and exciting. Meg Duncan had traveled a great deal in her young life, but she had never before visited the north woods of Maine. Uncle Hal owned a cabin in the woods and sometimes went there to fish and relax. But this time, he was going for a different reason -- to help a friend in need. How did this town get its unusual name? Meg wondered. And what was the "frightful problem" that Uncle Hal's friend, Emily Hawthorne, had mentioned in her letter? Meg and Kerry soon discovered that Merrybones got its name from the strange happenings around Wigwam Cave. Indian witch doctors had used the cave once. There had supposedly been other witches there, too. Some people still said that, when the night was right and the moon was full, the witches might come again . . . thirteen terrible witches, who could cast an evil spell on anyone who dared try to solve the mystery of the black-magic cave.
