You may view your Android phone as a communications device, but your kids know that it's actually an awesome mobile gaming center. When you're caught in traffic or facing an unexpectedly long wait at the pediatrician's office, you are going to hand over that phone. The kids will be happy, you'll be relieved, and, if you choose your apps carefully, they might even learn something while they play... (source)

    Angry Birds (purchase - evaluate)
In perhaps the greatest rivalry since King Kong took on Godzilla, Angry Birds pits a flock of feathered fliers against the evil green pigs who have stolen their eggs. Players use slingshots to send the birds headlong into various pig-sheltering structures, which they attempt to topple. This game is wildly popular with kids and adults, who generally find it as entertaining as it is challenging. Those who finally manage to defeat the pigs on every level will probably want to move on to the sequels: Angry Birds Seasons and Angry Birds Rio.

Fruit Ninja v1.7.6 (purchase - evaluate)
Kids use finger swipes to slice through flying fruit, with their fingers acting as ninja blades. As more and more fruits fly through the air, they get points for each fruit they slice. Depending on the mode they choose, slicing through a bomb may end the game or just subtract points from their score. In Zen mode there are no bombs, just an endless bounty of fruit. Either way, nothing but the fruit gets harmed. As players advance, they earn the right to unlock new swords and backgrounds. At the end of each game, players are treated to a new “Sensei’s Fruit Fact.”

    Spaghetti Marshmallows (purchase - evaluate)
What kinds of structures can you build with an unlimited supply of spaghetti and marshmallows? In this building game, kids pin marshmallows with the ends of uncooked spaghetti to create all kinds of designs. The goal is to end up with a marshmallow in a specific on-screen target, but if you build an unstable structure, it will topple – and you’ve gotta watch out for hungry frogs. When you complete the level, you do what any delighted child would do in real life: Go on a rampage and destroy your structure. A playground mode eliminates obstacles and lets you rampage any time you like.

Kids Shape Puzzle (purchase - evaluate)
In this nicely designed puzzle app, kids solve simple jigsaw puzzles by dragging the brightly colored pieces into the correct positions. Many of the puzzles are letters and numbers, along with preschool favorites, like animals and musical instruments. When a puzzle is solved, it transforms. A “13″ puzzle, for example, becomes the number 13 plus a picture of 13 trees, with a voice pronouncing the number 13. A tuba becomes a detailed picture of a tuba with a snippet of tuba music, plus a voice saying the word “tuba.”

    Doodle Jump (purchase - evaluate)
Tilt your phone to the left and right to guide your little doodle creature as it jumps onto higher and higher platforms. Avoid holes and doodle monsters; aim for springs, trampolines, and jet packs to help you go higher. The game has several modes, allowing kids to choose different backgrounds and details, such as a space theme or a jungle theme. All of them are cute and challenging enough to keep kids coming back to improve their scores.

    Kids Socks (purchase - evaluate)
This fun matching game gives kids an assortment of unmatched, brightly patterned socks that they need to, well, match. A clothesline brings them one new sock at a time, kids drag one of their socks up to the clothesline to create a matching pair, and the pair then continues moving along the clothesline. A “baby” option lets them match by just touching the correct sock instead of dragging it. Better still, an option to match underwear instead of socks will please kids who are currently potty training or who just happen to think underwear is hilarious.

    Kids Piano (purchase - evaluate)
Young kids are natural musicians, and most of them love to play toy pianos. This app gives them a colorful toy piano right on your phone screen. The bars are labeled with the notes (do, re, mi, and so on), and kids can either play free-form or choose a song, with the app guiding them on which note to play. Two game modes let them play notes by hitting a pop-up mouse or play a matching game with musical notes. A free version gets you much of the same functionality, though with fewer song choices and other options.

Dog Dress up (purchase - evaluate)
Boys and girls, toddlers and adults, get ready for the ride of your life, because this is both a game for boys and a game for girls, game for toddlers and game for adults, no exceptions here! Dog days are ahead of us and you better prepare for them well. If you are looking for educational games for kids 3 years old, then you are on the right place! Color & Draw for kids HD is far more than just an app version of simple, traditional coloring books. This coloring and sketching app gives kids dozens of coloring pages, backgrounds, vibrant colors, brushes, and other options to choose from. Users can also create their own drawings, draw over photos taken with the device's camera, and practice letter and numbers with onscreen lined paper. There are in-app purchases ($.99) to buy more themed pages, stickers, and backgrounds; you can turn this option off in the app's settings. Also, kids can choose drawings to just color finished pictures or complete incomplete drawings.

The App Family is proud to introduce Kids Peg Puzzle Free, bringing you laughter and fun with beautiful HD graphics, high-quality sounds, five wildly different backgrounds and many puzzles to solve. Interesting games and would be the best choice for kids. Out of the apps you have mentioned Angry Birds and Fruit Ninja are all time favorite games of mine.
