Is there a 'dummies' guide to installing these maps on to a zumo 660?

copy unpacked gmap folder to garmin map directory
WIN10/8/7/Vista = C:\ProgrammData\Garmin\Maps
or
XP = C:\Dokument and Setting\All Users\ApplicationData\Garmin\Maps

on MAC OS
/Library/Application Support/Garmin/Maps/

and BaseCamp or Mapsource see the map
now you can create and transfer image to device

Thanks for the info.

I have managed getting the maps into Mapsource and transferring the maps associated with a route to the Zumo.

The internal memory is not big enough for all of the map set to be transferred this way. How do I get the whole map set onto the sd card so that I don't have to transfer bits of it with the routes each time, and have it available on the unit all the time?
