I've been a long time user here with Android with the easy way to install apps etc. I have now got myself a iPhone 13 Pro Max running ios 15.5. How do I install ipa files from here? I have jail broken iPhones many years ago, is that still the case with these ipa files?

Yup, you'll need to jailbreak your iPhone in order to install apps from sources other than the Appstore.
