Personally I think that mobilism is very reasonable in their ad use and placement. No other comparable site is nearly as restrained in their ad management as these guys here. I mean, just look at some of the filesharing sites and imagine mobilism would advertise like some of them... * shudder *

Like it was stated before, websites have virtually no say in what and which ads are placed by the ad networks in the space provided. At best, a site admin can state the maturity level, but that's about it. And if there are malicious or otherwise questionable ads, your only tool as a site admin is to report those ads after the fact - and that only happens if your users actually call attention to those ads (site admins/moderators usually don't see the ads - at least in the forums where I am involved)

I have not seen mobilism throw a popup in a long time (if ever). There was a weird thing going on for a while with a re-direct to an ad page but I have never seen a for example a porn pop-up or pop-under. My best guess is, those are coming (again) from the filesharing sites and you really can't make mobilism responsible for the shit that for example Tusfiles is throwing at you. (And, thanks to the magic of tracing I think in most cases you only get porn ads if you or somebody using the same computer is actually ... uhmm... looking at porn :) )

I know most of this has been said already.. I just like hearing myself talk.

Again, thanks to the people who are running mobilism for keeping it clean and non-obnoxious
