I’m staying mostly indoors this weekend. Just need to leave for a few walks during the day to get my Vitamin D, which I really need. I have to do it with an umbrella though because the sun is just horribly hot.

Hi, Katy! My mom’s good. She’s excited because my brother is coming for another visit tomorrow. He’ll probably stay the usual 2 weeks and then go back to the US. Glad to hear your grandchildren are doing well

Hello everyone how was your day.
Yesterday I went to a canopy obstacle course. I got to zip line, crawl and scale along various platforms wearing a harness up in the trees.
Definitely the most fun (with the exception of Mobilism that is) I've had in a while.
Anyone else do something similar. Zip line, rock climb, sky diving before?

and its been many many many years..but i've had the pleasure of a few jumps out of perfectly good airplanes nothing takes a quite shy girl out of her comfort zone and turns her into a raving lunatic who won't shut up for hours because of the adrenaline high faster than flying through the air with only a slip of fabric to keep you alive

Yeah I've been bungee jumping but never skydiving that's next on my list. The obstacle course is at a ski resort half hour from home.
Bungee jumping was sincerely the most frightening experience. It was in Nepal at a place called the Last Resort over a river on a cable suspension bridge. That was ten years ago.

Katy, no snow here in Leura, but it sure got a lot colder after the cold front moved in. Blackheath is just that much higher, so they tend to get snow before we do. Wind is still howling today, which makes it feel even colder and 4 degrees. Guess we'll have a bit more winter for a while . . .

Lorcality, I've done some rock climbing in my time, but never bungee jumping or sky diving. My son has done the latter. I don't know of any zip lining options around here, but I'd be quite willing to try that.

Alessa, glad to hear your brother will be visiting. I'm sure that will make your mother very happy.

Ice, sounds like you've had some adventures. I think stretching yourself (within limits) is always a good thing. But my own body may not tolerate too much 'stretching' these days . . .

Photo shows my brother with his boat on one of the local Maine islands. It turned up overnight, so I'm guessing this is what he did on Saturday afternoon, after working in the morning. There area a great many deserted islands quite near his usual mooring, and most are rarely visited.

Fuzzies are fine . . . all ready for Rishi's specialist appointment on Tuesday morning.

YEAH!, well i wont be throwing my ass off a perfectly good bridge or out of a perfectly good airplane, even if it is going to crash id rather take my chance with the crash it has a much harder shell than ,me;-)
I have enough aches and pains to contend with on a round the clock basis without adding more to the ledger. ones that should be reserved for torture tactics not someone like myself. But endure we must, fun for me would be just one day of pain free blissssssss. I know will never ever happen and as we age they will only get worse. ;-(something to really look forward to.(NOT)
time for that nana nap and hope oblivion comes

Hi lorcality There is not enough alcohol in the world that would make me jump out of a perfectly good plane night ice ,night bear John my daughter went bungee jumping on her honeymoon many years ago ,she wanted to check it off her bucket list, she threw up and wet her pants hence she's stayed firmly on the ground ever since Matina I hear ya sister me too join me on the couch Star have a good night rest well Pj your brother looks well Good to see his photo I'm signing off for the day be good all Morning nonny hope your well
