In settings you can disable ads, but that gives app permission "to use your device resources" - not sure what that mean ..... p2p ? .... bitcoin mining ?

Anyway, you will only then get 360 display

On my phone, Mobdro's default setting turns on ads. If I try to turn ads off, it'll ask to use my phone's resources in the background to handle the traffic to their servers or something. So I left ads on since I use blokada anyway. I also disabled Mobdro's background activity just in case it tries to run something in the background anyway (https://www.techrepublic.com/article/ho ... roid-oreo/). Can't be too careful.

The problem I have using either adguard or Blokada is they override VPN's....I don't want my ISP contacting me about illegal viewing of copywrited material...As I understand the current UK laws its 3 ISP warnings by letter then they are obliged to inform the relevant authorities.

this mobdro dude is getting pretty desperate with his 3 updates in a day, now also some crypto botnet to milk the last pennies from the 360p streams. If anyone wants to leech the streams it's very easy just make a player that can play RTMFP using https://github.com/MonaSolutions/librtmfp and copy the static streams urls.

I work for one of UK's major telecommunication companies and when you use a VPN we cannot see what your visiting/downloading and a VPN doesn't show up on our systems so don't worry. I'd be more worried not using a VPN and visiting sites like this.
